Our Evolution

An important relationship in our evolution and growth as a business, was a strategic partnership with Appletree.  Irax provided the underlying systems, software and engines behind Appletree’s subscriber management and payment processing services.  We are proud to have worked alongside them to build a customer service call centre in Mauritius, achieve integrations and software solutions that allowed them to become a payment processing powerhouse, with accreditations as a Direct Debit Bureaux, and achieve compliance as a Level One PCI DSS Service provider.

We learnt a lot whilst building and maintaining their systems and software, servicing some of the biggest names in television broadcast subscriptions.  Hi volume processing and omnichannel customer management became second nature and our systems and services were used for many high profile sporting broadcasts, as well as taking care of a wide variety of television channel’s customer service and billing requirements  for many years.  Our automation has processed millions of pounds in subscription revenues over the years, and the skills we learnt along the way, inspired some of our current payment solutions, offered in conjunction with Northwest Payments Ltd.
